Could you help out Golowan?

Our town's beloved Golowan Festival is back for its 29th year and looking for volunteers to help with various roles on Mazey Day and Quay Fair Day.
It's one of the biggest festivals in West Cornwall, and each year lots of local residents, business owners and visitors volunteer, get involved and work hard to make it such a great success.
And this year is no different. With the festival just a week away, Golowan's organisers are still looking for volunteers to help with things like:

Stewarding the Mazey Day parades

Working in and packing up the Golowan Pop-Up Shop

Collecting on Quay Fair Day

Collecting with the Torchlit procession

Collecting in the 3 pm Mazey Day parade

Manning our stall selling reusable water bottles on Mazey Day

Helping set up for the Mazey Day parades (checking stewards are there, giving out hi vis vests etc)

Quay Fair Day, Meeting & Greeting

Quay Fair Day, litter picking

So if you or someone you know has a few hours to spare on Saturday 29th June and/or Sunday 30th June, and you'd like to get involved, meet new people and have fun while helping out your local community, then please contact the Golowan team by emailing, visiting the website for more info, or messaging them via Facebook @GolowanFestival
