CD Launch in aid of The Aurora Foundation - Wednesday 4th September

Andy is a Newlyn-based fiddle player and a Family Worker in a Children and Families Social Work Team at Cornwall Council.

After surviving childhood sexual abuse at the hands of his violin teacher when he was just 11 years old, Andy is now raising money to help others who have experienced the same.

Thanks to an award from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, Andy has produced a CD of folk music, featuring him and a number of Newlyn and Penzance-based musicians.

Launching at The Acorn on Wednesday 4th September with a live performance of some of his music, every penny raised through ticket and CD sales at the event will be donated to the Aurora Foundation for people abused in childhood.
